Welcome to Doma Aquaria, a serene desert retreat where architectural calm, modern comfort, and playful luxury converge. Located just minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, this spacious hideaway is designed for relaxation, connection and play.

The moment you walk in you’ll feel at home thanks to the subtle sophistication of minimalist modern flair in the comfort of the lounge area. Warm earth tones, natural textures, and a clean, modern aesthetic shape the open-concept living room and kitchen.

The space transforms seamlessly into a home cinema thanks to a 120-inch motorized projector screen paired with a premium short-throw projector — perfect for winding down after a day in the park.

The newly renovated private back yard offers a multitude of options for relaxation: a newly built 30x12 saltwater pool, 8 sun loungers (2 in pool), a desert-chic outdoor bar, creating a private oasis for sun, shade, and starlit evenings. 6 person hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, outdoor dining area and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains day or night.

The climate-controlled geodesic dome offers a tranquil sanctuary for meditation, yoga, journaling, or quiet conversation.

Back inside a separate music room provides a place to gather and play instruments. Select from a curated set of vinyl records, read, or have a private retreat from the main house all with easy access to the outdoor dining area.

When you're ready to dial up the fun, the neon-lit games room — a private hangout we call the High Desert Hideout — post up at the dedicated Irish bar; play billiards, old school arcade games, chess or backgammon on the convertible coffee/games table and lounge late into the night in this custom designed private room.

Good Neighbor Policy & Noise Control

*** Quiet time is 10pm-8pm. ***

Sound travels far in the desert and outdoor noise regulations are strictly enforced by San Bernardino county and by the property management.

Guests must observe these rules and comply with all house and local regulations.

- No outdoor noise after 10pm.

- No parties or large disruptive gatherings.

- Noise onsite is remotely monitored via NoiseAware.

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS! We are in a residential neighborhood with locals who reside on both sides of our home. Please follow our Good Neighbor Policy of no outside noise after 10pm and before 8am. Guests must refrain from any outdoor music, noise or other disruptions that may cause a disturbance to the community during quiet hours. Failure to respect quiet hours after an initial warning may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund and/or a fine from the county.

Pool & Hot Tub Liability Waiver

By completing this booking, you confirm you have read and agreed to the Pool Liability Waiver and county noise regulations included in these rules.

Pool Heat is not available.

FAMILY & PETS:

We are family and dog friendly! Children 2 years old and above must be included as part of the total guest count. We have a fully fenced backyard for your pets to run freely. Please note that small dogs may be able to pass through small openings in some areas between the fence and ground! Dogs are accepted with your agreement of our pet rules. We will request a $75 cleaning & companion fee per pet.

EXTRA GUESTS:

Guest count must be the same as on the reservation. Keep in mind there is an added $50/night per guest over the 4th to cover extra cleaning and amenity usage. Any day guests must be approved prior to arrival. Day guests must leave by 10pm. Children are considered as part of the total guest count.

DOME:

The dome is not meant for sleeping in. Due to its clear material, it can show dirt easily if there were strong winds. We wash the outside often, but please note that this unique space is delicate.

VENDORS

Nexxus pest control will be coming to the property to spray the exterior of the home on the first Friday of every month between 11am-4pm. They will not need to enter the home for any reasons.

NO SMOKING:

No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home (including vaping) and dome. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors at least 15 feet away from any exterior doors and dome. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.

VERIFICATION: Bookings are protected by TRUVI. After confirmation, guests must complete identity verification (takes less than a minute) before arrival. Check-in details will be shared after this step. Guests may also need to agree to House Rules or Terms & Conditions.

CHECK-IN FORM: Before check-in instructions, guests must fill out a form via our link to help coordinate our ground team.

LACK OF CELLULAR COVERAGE:

You will notice that cell service is hard to come by in our secluded desert setting. Don't worry—consider it an invitation to unplug and fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty around you. We recommend planning ahead to make the most of this serene escape from the digital world.

Pool & Hot Tub Liability Waiver

By booking this property, the Guest(s) acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the use of the pool and/or hot tub (the "Facilities"):

1. Assumption of Risk

The Guest understands that the use of the Facilities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of drowning, slipping, falling, or physical injury. There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Guests use the Facilities at their own risk.

2. Supervision of Minors

Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by a competent adult at all times when in or around the Facilities. The Guest assumes full responsibility for the safety of all minors in their party.

3. Prohibited Conduct

To ensure safety and compliance with local Joshua Tree/San Bernardino County ordinances, the Guest agrees to:

No Diving: The pool is shallow (3 ft deep at shallow end, 5ft deep at deep end); diving may result in serious injury or death.

No Glass: Strictly no glass containers in the pool area. Any broken glass discovered in the pool will result in a minimum $1,500 cleaning and drainage fee.

No Solo Swimming: Use the "buddy system" at all times.

No Intoxicated Swimming: Do not use the Facilities while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

4. County Ordinance Compliance

The Guest acknowledges that San Bernardino County strictly prohibits outdoor amplified music at Short-Term Rentals. Failure to comply with noise ordinances or "Quiet Hours" (10 PM – 7 AM) may result in immediate eviction without refund and the forfeiture of the security deposit to cover local fines.

5. Release of Liability

The Guest, for themselves and their heirs, hereby releases and holds harmless the Host, property owners, and management from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from the use of the Facilities, including personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, except in cases of gross negligence by the Host.
