This home styles bold colors, high fashion decor, and panoramic views of the Morongo Basin -- a clash between the hi-desert living and Palm Springs scene. As the night falls, Desert Disco House lights up inside and out with far out LED lighting everywhere to ensure you always have the perfect mood to take your desert escape to the max!
The open-concept floor plan allows for conversations to flow freely from the living room and kitchen to the large wrap around outdoor patio space. Saddle up at the bar for a martini and Get Down Tonight or chill and wait for that perfect Last Dance.
SLEEPING:
With 4 beds and 2 baths, there’s plenty of space for all your coolest cats to be still and relax, or to take a breather when the Disco Inferno gets too hot. Each room is themed with its own color and mood.
Leave your rose colored glasses on the dancefloor before heading up the plush, spiral staircase to the master suite. Ring My Bell, Shake it Up and Knock on Wood because everything is decked out in soft pink tones and textures, making it better than any Shaggin Wagon. Take a disco nap on the fainting couch, rinse off in the glamourous glass block shower, or get ready for a night out with ample vanity space.

OUTDOORS:
A private, enclosed large outdoor space provides plenty of comfortable seating and multiple areas to gather. Catch some rays by the pool during the day, then grill up some dinner, dine at the outdoor table while you watch the sunset behind the mountain ranges, cozy up by the fire pits for s’mores, and jump into the new 6-person hot tub for a relaxing night of stargazing.
FEATURES:
This is a Smart Home equipped with e-locks for self check-in, large smart TV (Netflix), bluetooth speaker, and hi-speed wifi (100 mbps). The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped with all of your cooking and travel necessities.
CLEANING:
Health & safety is our number one priority. Our in-house cleaning team is trained on CDC and WHO protocols. We take extra measures to ensure the home is sanitized and safe before every arrival. For this reason we aren’t able to offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Thank you for understanding!
HOT TUB:
We have a brand-new 6-person hot tub, set to a soothing 104 degrees for your ultimate comfort and relaxation.
PHOTOSHOOTS & VIDEOS:
If you’re interested in doing a photoshoot or shooting a video, please let us know what it is for. You must get approval beforehand! If approved, we have an additional fee for licensing and usage.
WILDLIFE:
You’re surely guaranteed to encounter wildlife on your stay including families of Quail, rare Albino lizards, insects, snakes, squirrels and the endangered kangaroo mice.
NO SMOKING:
This is a non smoking home. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.
FAMILY & PETS
We are family and pet friendly! Children 2 years old and above must be included as part of the total guest count. Pets are accepted on a case by case basis and pet owners must agree to our pet rules before we can approve. Please send us the breed and age for consideration. We will request a $75 cleaning & companion fee per pet. Please see our House Rules for more information.
EXTRA GUESTS:
Guest count must be the same as on the reservation. Most hosts set their nightly rates based on the total guest count. Instead, we set a lower base rate for up to 4 guests with an added $50/night Usage & Amenity fee (plus booking fees & taxes) for every extra guest. This allows us to accommodate smaller sized groups with affordable rates and honor our standard nightly rate for groups of 8.
LOUD NOISES:
Home is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss. You can play music indoors as loud as you'd like as long as ALL of the windows and doors are closed.
VERIFICATION: Bookings are protected by TRUVI. After confirmation, guests must complete identity verification (takes less than a minute) before arrival. Check-in details will be shared after this step. Guests may also need to agree to House Rules or Terms & Conditions.
CHECK-IN FORM: Before check-in instructions, guests must fill out a form via our link to help coordinate our ground team.
LACK OF CELLULAR COVERAGE:
You will notice that cell service is hard to come by in our secluded desert setting. Don't worry—consider it an invitation to unplug and fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty around you. We recommend planning ahead so you can make the most of this serene escape from the digital world.

This is the second time we have booked with this company and we should have learned our lesson the first time. The place looks great online but in person there were several things not up to par for the price: -Dishes were dirty and needed to be washed before using -The rugs were crusty & dirty -Bath towels were cheap and small -The lava lamps didn't work (we found one bulb that did fix one lava lamp. None of the batteries in the lights worked (host said they would drop off batteries and lave lamps but never did) The day before we were supposed to check-in my grandma unexpectedly ended up in the ER. I am her medical POA and caregiver and did not feel comfortable leaving her alone while I went on a vacation. I explained this to the host, acknowledged the refund policy, and offered to provide proof, and they still would not refund/rebook. Our friends ended up going the first night and we joined the second night but the lack of empathy ensures we will never book with this company again.

The star gazing under the sky on the night of her funeral was the best part of this trip and something I will never forget . Everything aligned perfectly and I couldn’t be anymore thankful for this experience !

The place was absolutely adorable—TOP notch decor! We felt like we had our very own party palace on the hill. Very quiet neighborhood and lots of privacy. The deck/porch was huge and let you really appreciate the surrounding natural beauty and enjoy the night sky. The pantry had the best stocked spice rack we’ve ever experienced.

We enjoyed our stay at the Disco House. Yes, it's quirky, but that's part of the charm. It was perfect for our ladies' weekend. The kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub was amazing, and the disco lights were pure fun. The location was perfect for spending time in Joshua Tree National Park - it was an easy drive to the entrances. The view of the surrounding mountains was so beautiful. We would absolutely stay here again.

I loved the 70s styled vibe of the home and the view was amazing I was just upset some of the fun lights weren’t working at the home (we had to purchase our own batteries) and only half the led lights worked in the kitchen. Still a really pretty home and my friends and I all had a blast!
